| We are currently a pack of two soon to be three! We have a 2 year old alpha male named Bandit and a female little demon who just turned 1, Smokey. They get along well, like a typical brother and sister; one second they are licking each other, the next beating the fur out of each other (rough players), and you turn around again and they sleeping side by side. When we were thinking of a third I tried to do a lot of research to figure out if three would get along; if one would be left out, if the third should be a male or female, how Bandit would react as he is an alpha, etc. What I came to realize is...it depends on the dogs. We really won't know until they meet. We plan on bringing the two to meet the litter and pick out a third and go from there and see how they each react and what we need to do to correct any behaviors. Any who, I was trying to find a topic about how many dogs people had in their packs and I couldn't find one. I am curious about how different packs interact and to see who has the biggest pack Pictures welcome!!! |

You have pictures of three huskies did I miss something? Lyon is not officially with me yet, but Abby is fostering him for me, and I am the one who suggested the name Lyon His last home didnt work out a few weeks ago and I offered to take him if Abby could foster a bit, I NEED to get my vehicle fixed first because I cannot have four dogs and no transportation. I just bought this car le sigh. But its going into the shop monday and hopefully my issues will finally be resolved and I can bring Mr. Red-head puppy home. |

I had no idea you were rescuing another, congrats! Thank you, I'm very excited I have recently gotten a nice full time job with benefits and the nine yards, a 'big kid' job if you will. Mr. Lyon will have to deal with the apartment life for a few months first and then all the kids and I will be moving into my own house with their own yard. I was planning on getting a puppy from a reputable working line breeder next but I couldn't say no to this cutie pie.. he probably can't mush very well as he's got a throat issue right now, but if he can't he can be Cloud's buddy when we take trips to Michigan for the big kid fun runs ;D |

| I currently have three Simon the husky, Sadie the pit bull, Maya the pit bull husky mix. We don't really have a alpha or dog in charge. Mom is in the one in charge. Maya is only ours for the summer and she is excited about it. Her owner is in Italy for the summer and we fostered her as a pup so it's nice to see her again. She is about a year and a half old. Sadie our pibble who is the grown up of the bunch at 4 years old. She isn't really in charge but she is very clear with the pups when she has had enough and just wants to go chill out. And Simon our 7 month old husky puppy who keeps growing up on us. He is the little wild child of the group but at 7 months old what can we expect. It will will be interesting how the group dynamics change as he grows up. |
