Did he fall asleep this way or does the picture just seem like it? If he did, that's hilarious.

He is like the biggest husky bully ever! He does everything just to piss off his brother and not let him have a toy. So he got up from his nap, stole this tennis ball from his brother, went back with it in his mouth and proceeded to sleep again.

We had an awesome Sunday! We went for a 4 mile walk around a pond, then ate at the restaurant right there, and then went to a camp on the ocean. The dogs loved it, and they were so exhausted last night!
I also spend forever trying to rotate these pictures and photobucket was being ridiculous, so I quit!  





Nikolai hid his adult kong last week and we still have yet to find it, so he gets the puppy for now!  

What handsome boys you have there!! My oldest and heaviest husky is the bully between my two boys and he does the same thing Nikolai does!

I was going to do the cake, but he is on a little bit of a diet, so I went with homemade frosty's instead and a special dinner which I still have to come up with!

Thanks everyone! I felt bad that he didn't get to do to much fun stuff today, so I'm excited to get home and finally be with him!

So yesterday was supposed to be a colder, cloudier day so we decided to take them for a hike, it was below 70 with wind and mostly cloudy when we started and within an hour it shot up to 80 with clear skies. Luckily we decided to turn around and start down before it fully reached that temperature, but it was way to hot by the time we got to the bottom. Luckily we had a lot of water for them, and took a lot of breaks. I cannot wait till Fall, when we can do all this stuff and not have to worry about the temperature. But the lesson I learned was to never trust the weather app on my phone again!

Oh which beautiful mountain in Maine is this? I can't wait to get back up there and enjoy some time on the mountains with my girls!! I want to hike Borestone next time I go up.

Its actually pretty much the bottom of Cadillac Mountain in Bar Harbor. I think we only got about a mile up before we had to turn around, so I didn't get the best pictures, but when we do it again, I will have to add photo's of the top.

We actually haven't done any hikes with the dogs that haven't been in Bar Harbor. Thats where my parents still live, so its just the easiest place to go. We keep meaning to plan longer hikes, but unfortunately haven't yet!

yeah i don't trust many weather sites... we just always start super early so if they are wrong we dont get caught in the heat! at least you got our for a little bit, i miss the east coat mountains.

Yeah, If we had started an hour and a half earlier we would of made it fine, but we chose to sleep in a little and it bit us in the butt for sure!

I do love hiking up in all the greenery and seeing the ocean as a view, so when I move to Colorado that will be the one thing I miss!

Yes. That is actually the reason there aren't more pictures of them in the pool. Haha. My boyfriends parents pool guy banned them because of the hair!
