Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.

This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. I got a call via the Husky Rescue I'm volunteering for from a woman in Mississippi looking for a rescue in MS and/or the surronding states.

A girl from Colorado went to MS to visit family over the holidays and decided that she didn't want her 2 Sibes, one male and one female and left them with a friend. Pedigree papers and all.

The woman in MS is trying to find a rescue that will take this husky because MS will just be too hot for him.

Here's his description:

'Damien'
-5 yr. old male
-gray/white
-blue eyes
-good with young children (currently living with 2)
-good with other dogs (currently living with a Boxer)
-house trained
-good on leash
-has pedigree papers

If you know of a rescue this woman can call, please send me a PM.

The woman says he's very sweet but unfortunately, the female escaped and she wasn't able to catch her and hasn't found her yet.
So sad!
Almost makes me want to drive down there to get him!

Talked to the woman a couple of days ago, and she has arranged for this Sibe to be picked up and brought to a rescue in cooler climate...hopefully, he'll find a good home wherever he ends up. (fingers and paws crossed!)
