My Husky has been on raw for a whole week now and doing great. But the one thing that has got me a little concerned is I have been noticing a few of the poop turds with a red tint to them. I have been giving her chicken backs and quarters only so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Apart from the chicken, what else does it put into mouth?
Have you check it's anal glands? is it full and swollen?

Maybe try to give some probiotic for her, as she just started off for a week. It could be something that she is not used to and body is adjust with it. If it didn't improve in a week time, possibly something need to be look closer.

I am not sure would that any helps with these experience. (Sorry, not meant to threat you =( )

I have had 2 sibe, one had tumor and initially the stool gradually become darker red as there is some bleeding internally.
Another has had giardia n thats cause him a little bit difficult pass out stool and with a little bit fresh blood tinted, not much really. Stomach/ belly are sensitive to touch.

Any treats of any kind? Veggies? Pumpkin? Any red toys or something she may have torn up and eaten? Supplements of any kind?

Does the whole stool have a red tint, or are there just little red areas, bits, or spots?

Could she be in heat?

Have you tested her for worms recently? Could be a parasite that is unrelated to the raw?

Is her stool otherwise formed and normal? No issues with diarrhea or mucus?

Is the stool fully 'processed' or do you see small pieces of bone (totally normal, but it just could be irritating on the way out)?

No she has not been getting anything else nor does she chew on anything red. The red is almost a pinkish red, its not bright and no spots in it.
Shes not in heat as she is spayed.
Her stool has actually looked great this week, minus the discoloration, not been super firm but def nothing loose.

The only thing that comes to mind is she does sometimes eat a little of my horses feed the he drops (and I mean a couple pellets at most before I catch her) and the feed is a pink/red color. Could that be the culprit possibly? I guess I will just keep watching and keep her away from the horse feed (tho she already managed to sneak a bite this am).

That would make sense. If the color to the horse feed is a dye then it could very well be what you see. Takes very little red in the wash to turn a loud of whites pink.

Ha ha. I agree. I would be the horse feed is the culprit.
