| Hey, this may not be super urgent as he seems okay but I thought to be on the safe side I would check with you guys.
When I took my smaller dog on a walk, I guess Dexter my sibe went into my room and found my hot cocoa I had made earlier. It was my mistake leaving it on my side table. I had already had some of it— it was the Starbucks powdered Hot Cocoa, salted caramel flavor. I made it with skim milk. I had the cup next to my bed, and when I came back, he had gotten into it and slurped up a good deal of it, leaving maybe an inch or two at the bottom (so not all of it.) I feel like it is probably fine since he is 50 lb and it's a small cup, plus he doesn't seem to be showing any problems like vomiting or restlessness.
The ingredients listed on the packet are sugar (it's probably mostly sugar, to be honest) and cocoa (processed with alkali, which I know is the issue here, considering the theobromine.) Any concerns I should have? Again, right now he seems to be fine, but I really wanted to make sure. Thank you all. |

| I wouldn't be terribly concerned, just keep an out out for anything suspicious.
My 1 year old 50 pound girl jumped on the counter and ate 12 chocolate cupcakes (wrappers and all) the other week and aside from an obvious tummy ache, she was fine. |

| At one point my first husky, Tasha, ate almost an entire bag of Dove milk chocolate. That one scared me but she was fine. Just was super, super hyped up all night. A few days later, the foil came out the other end. |
