Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule. |

| I haven't been to the forum in a good month+, and I know there are a lot of new people...so sorry if you are confused lol. So as y'all know, my boyfriend is back home watching the pups. Well, things haven't been dandy between us, so now he is "punishing" me by not sending me update of my dogs. I haven't gotten to "talk" to them in almost 3 weeks, and I haven't gotten pictures in over 2. It's literally killing me. I don't really have anything else to say lol....just that I really miss my babies . |

| Can't really offer any advice, but sorry you have to go through this! How long have you been away from them? Not hearing from them in 3 weeks must be really hard, but hang in there!! Total time away is just over 11 weeks so regardless of when you left, you're over 25% of the way there!! Hopefully everything resolves itself soon and you get to see your babies! |

| How awful. So sorry you're going through this. Stay positive and look toward the light at the end of the tunnel. Like Angela said, you're a quarter of the way there! You'll get through it. I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't hear or see anything from Layla for three weeks or longer. I don't know what's going on between you and the BF but I think it's kind of childish that he's denying you access to your dogs because he's upset. They're your dogs, your babies, and you deserve to receive updates on them while you have to be away, fight or no.
Hope things get better for you soon. Keep your head up. |

| That sucks Kelsey. We were just out of town for a week and I couldn't handle it. I can't imagine how you're feeling. Good luck and hopefully your bf comes around soon... |

| I'm really sorry, Kelsey. He is being a tad immature about not giving you updates. Boys will be boys... lol.
You'll be back there soon enough! |

| Ugh, that really sucks Kelsey! How much longer are you away from them? I would die! I miss them when I'm gone for 2 days so I can only imagine 3 weeks! I agree with Liz, he's being immature. Regardless of any issues that you may be having, you still deserve to receive updates on YOUR dogs |

| I'm going to agree with what members above said... it is ridiculous for him to not send you updates about your babies just because you two are fighting. Dumb. I'm sorry you have to deal with that. How long until you get to go home? |

| So sorry you have to go through this crap - if I remember correctly you're in the gas/oil field industry? My son is field engineer for power industry - gas and nuclear turbines. Has to be out of town for extended periods frequently. Right now he's in Queens and hates it - works 7/12, sleep, eat and city traffic. Misses his fiancee, her little boy and his kitties! But, at least they are not fighting. Hope you are able to work things out with Mr. Withholding... |
