2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.

Karnovanda kennels - Karnovanda Dogs Empty
PostSubject: Karnovanda Dogs   Karnovanda kennels - Karnovanda Dogs EmptyTue Feb 04, 2014 9:17 pm

Hello everyone. I am new to the forum. I will be purchasing a puppy from Karnovanda kennels. I had a question about this breeder. I have seen comments about how certain breeder's dogs look different. For example some of you could probably tell a Karnovanda husky just by looking at it. What makes huskies from breeders like Karnovanda and Innisfree stand out (appearance-wise)?

This is an excellent question. I can sorta tell Kristari and Huskavarna dogs because my boy is from these lines and his breeder works closely with both. I'd be hard pressed to describe it in words.

Karnovanda is a great kennel. One of our most active members from Michigan has a dog from there and she knows them well. I'm sure she will chime in. She's more active at night lately.

It's in the head piece. Karnovanda dogs have cute, perfectly shaped eyes, cute ears, dusting markings and just a general look to them. My male, Cato, is from Judy. We go into further on the conformation thread, but I'll have to get the link to that.

Who are the dam and sire of the litter?

Judy didn't tell me who the sire and dam are. She said she wanted to wait until the pregnancy was confirmed to reveal who the parents are, but hopefully the puppies will be born next month.

I'm not sure about the answer to the markings question, but to me I can pick out a Karnovanda dog by its ears. Unmistakable.

I meant facial - that's what happens with autocorrect.

I love her dogs. You will be very happy with the temperament of their dogs - super sweet.
