I've caught Gunny sitting on my couch but not on the top yet... I've been teaching him to not sit on the couch at all though! But he does play with his tennis balls like a kitten. It's hilarious! But then he goes at it like a dog, first taking off the yellow stuff and then take apart the rubber and make a mess of the whole thing. Gotta love 'em!

Yes, Yes, Yes - Dino sits on the top of our sofa - usually behind Mark - when he wants a walk!!! I only managed to catch this pic of him when he was getting down. Danielle: Good luck with teaching Gunny not to sit on your couch ! you are a better woman than me if you can do that hehe! and Dino does exactly the same thing with tennis balls - we call him Dino the Dark Destroyer!!

Sierra stays off the couch but Jack will jump on it if we go out front to get something, he sits facing the back of the couch and puts his front paws and head on the top of the couch and looks out the window at us. It is cute but I hate when he does it right from coming in from outside cause then there is dirt and mud everywhere on it! Thank god we went with a light and dark brown couch.

Cath: Lol!! So do you keep giving Dino tennis balls as a treat? As far as I know I don't think Gunny likes any other kind of balls. I go with tennis balls because his previous owner mentioned them in his questionnaire at the shelter. I've got this rubber ball that was left behind at my house that I'm renting, he seldom plays with it but doesn't bother to take it apart. Gunny seems to do pretty good with verbal commands so that's how I've been lucky to keep him off the couch. I do let him jump on my bed to sleep with me at night and he loves that. |

Yes Danielle I buy tennis balls in bulk cos Dino just loves them. He has a couple of really hard rubber balls but he doesn't pay much attention to them - for him its tennis balls all they way hehe! Gunny is a good boy for staying off the couch but he probably prefers the bed anyway

Thanks! That's my friends Berner, Jasmine. She's here 5-6 days a week. Her and Ridik are the best of freinds.

Really?! I LOVE berners! Romeo and I have talked about getting one, but I don't think a Berner would be able to keep up with us I only said swiss cause it looked like her hair was shorter, but it's not exactly like it was the greatest angle for a picture of her _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand.

When Mika was a puppy she used to sleep behind my head on the bed atop my pillows. She's always getting in the chair or on the couch.

Our Husky/German Shepherd (Evo) is 11 months old and was raised with a kitten (same age) and a 10 year old Jack Russell. He definitely gets up on the top of the sofa. It makes it quite difficult because he is over 100 pounds and still growing.

Okay, okay, Gunny is officially a cat! He knows he's not allowed on the couch but maybe he thought it was ok to sit on the top. He likes to chase flies and that's what he was doing.

When we first got Takoda, he would sleep on the bed between the pillows of Parry and I. Thankfully as he has gotten older=bigger, he has moved to the end of the bed. Here are some pictures of mine on the couches.. Mine seem to think, that if they lay on the couch like a cat, that it is the best position in which they can spy on the neighbors. Are any yall's busy-bodies?
