Nana and Freya getting ready to run...and yes, that is an awesome guy running the race in his wheelchair.
Girl's start
We found a little Sibe girl on the sidelines and invited her to run with our team on the group fun run.

Fun! Should you plan to move snow is much quieter. Good luck and I hope you continue to have fun. By the way, since you have a euro hound could you list the possible combinations that they can be? I've only heard a tiny bit about them but would like to know more.

There is no "combination" for the working/racing sled dogs. They are whatever goes fast.
2 common 'types' in sled dogs are Eurohounds and Alaskan Huskies.
Alaskans have a higher content of spitz in them and are usually seen in longer distance events Euros tend to have more hound (be it scenthound or sighthound) and are used more in sprint events.
Lol. I grew up with the Foresthill Sleddog Classic on my front steps. I miss the snow, but for now, Southern dirt is what we have to work with.

Well, I love following the members who work with racing and larger teams. I'm happy with my one (or two?) dog(s), but grew up with Sargent Preston of the Yukon (that was t.v. show) and have always fantasized about streaking across the frozen north with my trusty leader Yukon King! I don't know the Forest Hill Sleddog Classic (said I was interested, never said I knew anything) Where is it held?

It's not one of the major races, but we would see mushers from all different states. Its in the mountains of California.
