I have seen a lot about people needing to feed their husky chicken and rice due to digestive issues. We have been feeding our dog Diamond Naturals Lamb and Rice because that is what he was used to at the breeders. On the bag was a feeding guide that we have been following. If we are to suppliment one of his meals with some chicken and rice, is it a 1:1 ratio?

Is he having digestive upset at all? Chicken and rice is a great way to reset his tummy, you can just feed that for a few days and switch back to regular food. If you're planning on feeding him one meal chicken/rice a day in general, I would probably just switch to a food he does better on instead.

Dan, what is your reasoning for supplementing chicken and rice? Like Rhia suggested, if it is for digestive issues that is not going to be a solution to the problem. However if it is for health/nutrition reasons then I'd skip the rice and just add in a rotation of different meats. Of course what you add and how much is going to depend largely on what you hope to achieve.
