HI...

Find it hard to get toys especially when your dog is a heavy chewer.

I thought of creating a list of tough toys if there is not one out there already. Here are the ones I have that have lasted a long time 4+ months so far.

1. Any Dura Chew heavy chewer products: http://www.nylabone.com/product-finder/by-product-type/non-edible-for-powerful-chewers.php
2. Goughnut Ring - Maxx: http://www.dogsgonuts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=GNT_RING_BLK_MAXX
3. Antler Dog Chew - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004JB7GC6/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
4. Large Kong
5. Hard Boild Softies - http://shop.kyjen.com/hard-boiled-softies/
6. Bumi - http://www.westpawdesign.com/catalog/dogs/dog-toys/eco-friendly-dog-toys/eco-friendly-products/bumi
7. Tug-N-Toss - http://www.jollypets.com/
8. DOGWOOD Sticks - http://www.petstages.com/product-details/dogwood-sticks
9. Orbee-Tuff Bone - http://www.planetdog.com/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=ORBEE%20BONES
10. Chuckit - http://www.chuckit.com/

Wehave had great success with these ones. They are Ripley's favourite and they are very tough.

Oh wow! Ours have lasted over a year. Rip loves them so much she cuddles with them, though they make sort of an annoying noise, rather unpleasant at 3am when she decides its time to play.

Only toys we have that have last a year was the Bumi and one of those Plush Puppies Homer the Hedgehog Plush Dog Toy. Loki just loves to de-stuff toys.

Gus destroys all chewy toys, EXCEPT this one so far...
http://www.planetdog.com/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=ORBEE%20BONES

It's soft and chewy, but he hasn't been able to rip off any chunks yet. He loves it! I find the nylabones are too hard for him. He likes to chew, but he likes the rubbery chews.

we have jolly balls for outside they are great we have/had two different sized ones and a teaser but definitely outside.jolly balls Chuckit ultra balls are great. DuraChews are good for us and there is a Petstages wood stick that is softer than nylabone hard but made the Chew and "eat" over long periods. It is good. Petstages wood stick

The chuckits are great! Although Gus still managed to tear it (where the orange meets the blue part). We learned the hard way that he ripped a hole in it when we threw it in the lake, and it sank haha. It keeps its ball shape though and he still loves it as a fetch toy, or just a chew toy.

I swear by Chuckits... they, in my opinion are "Virtually" Husky indestructible. We have quite a few of them just to have them in separate places of the house so then they are everywhere... hehe ... but there is one in particular I have been keeping track of for how long it will last.... We have had it since she was like 2 1/2 months old... she is almost a year, and it is still kicking... it has a few cracks in it but it still is together in one piece and bounces lol so it still has a timer on it....

We got Layla something like this http://www.petco.com/product/115324/Kyjen-Invincibles-Snake-with-Squeakers-Dog-Toy.aspx because it's got no stuffing. There's a squeaker in each "segment." So far she hasn't even tried to rip it up and it's the only toy she's willing to share with my parents' little dog, Maggie. They have fun each taking an end and playing tug of war or making "music" with the squeakers. It does get kind of annoying after a while but it's fun to watch!

I've been wanting to get one of those hard boiled softies for a while now. Not sure how long it would survive, but Mishka hasn't been ripping anything to bits recently. Lol.

I read great views and multiple people suggested it to me... But Jax lasted a few hours with it. So far I've had no luck with any squeaky toys... He figures out a way to get the squeaker, it's almost like that's the game for him. Smile
