Because huskies are different to usual dogs with their slow metabolisms, which one is the right one to use for a guide line? Or which do you go by?

e.g

(these are usually all the options)

Puppy: 6-12 weeks
Puppy: 3-4 months
Puppy: 5-7 months
Puppy: 8-12 months
Less Active Adult & Senior
More Active Adult
Highly Active Adult
Pregnant - last 5 weeks
Lactating - peak (week 4)

Trying to figure out how much my dogs would require of a type of food, so that I can estimate how much they may go through to figure out how economic/expensive the brand will work out.

Or does anyone know the daily energy requirements per pound of weight for husky at various activity levels? I am already well aware of a normal dogs needs.

I go by the lowest feeding amount for my boys weight range and then feed even less than that.

Edited to add: My dogs are companion animals, not working.

Yes I have read somewhere on the net since posting this topic, that siberian huskies usually eat 40% less then what other dogs the same size do due to there super great metabolism

I usually pick the low end of the options and just keep a sharp eye for body changes (gaining/losing weight) and adjust accordingly.
