| Hello every one, About a month ago we found this poor little girl trying to eat some garbage. She was very skinny and cuts all over her tiny flea infested body. We took her home and got her back to health, with the help of our vet. Now that she is healthier and gaining weight I wanted to figure out what breed she might be. I was thinking she had some husky in her. Thought she is pretty small. I believe she is around 3 months. She does howl but also barks, loves water and loves to run I take her for long brisk walks every night with my border collie. Though what makes me think she isn't husky is her longer ears and tail. Its hard to tell but, she has a white fur but cream on top and silver hairs down her back. She also has black line of fur running down her tail ( you can kind of see it in the image of her looking at the door.) Her eyes are a really dark brown you can only see that they are brown when you look closely at her eyes. I will attach some picture of her. It was hard to get a 3 month puppy that is full of energy to stay still so I am sorry ahead of time. Also they seem to all have flipped to the side sorry again. Would love to hear what every one else thinks she might be. Thanks for your time |

| First things first, she is absolutely adorable and must be snuggled, like right now Good call on the ears. Not only are they large but set wide towards the side of the head, more like a Malamute. My first gut reaction was Husky/White German Shepherd, but who knows. It looks like there's something else going on other than Husky to me. I can see some Border Collie or Corgi in her face perhaps as well. Great job rescuing her and giving her a good home. Was there no trace of a "lost puppy" anywhere? |

| I was thinking that also that she was German shepherd. My brother has a German Shepherd puppy and her ears look a lot like his dogs Where I am there are a lot of lost puppies sadly. The only one I could find was a cute lost black lab, no one was looking for a little cream white puppy in the area. She was about 5 weeks when I found her(that is what our vet said), and I looked for her mother or siblings and nothing. This happens a lot in TX. |

| Really that so interesting. She is long legged though, so I really never though of a corgi. Its hard to tell from the pictures. Thanks so much for your thoughts I keep looking at her and wondering. Some one at work said that once she get older I will really start to see what she is. |

| Well, I just see a Corgi in the face every time I glance at the last picture down. And when you have, say, 3 or 4 breeds of dog mixed in one litter there isn't gonna be correspondence with all parts.
The Corgi face parts might not match the GSD leg parts.....so to speak. |

| Well she is one crazy little melting pot of dogs. I wonder if she is corgi/husky/Shepherd mix if some of her litter mates had tinny legs while other like her had longer legs. What a silly bunch of pups that would have been.
I do see the corgi face now and with her ears so spread apart I think that might be true. |

| I've seen dogs that looked like that as puppies that were German shepherd/Golden retriever crosses. My first instinct is GSD, but honestly there's no way to know, but she looks like she'll be great regardless! We'll have to see how she grows :3
Keep in mind, if a dog is a mix of more than two breed then it's impossible to tell what the mix is by visual alone. |

| You'll have to wait a bit but when she gets a little older watch her. If she is calm and is a constant treasure then she does not have any husky in her. If on the other hand she try's to mine the backyard for coal, eats the sofa, and gnaws the legs off the chairs then congratulations she is definitely a husky!! |

| That's funny you mentioned Corgi, because that's the first breed that came to my mind as well. I also see maybe a little GSD or Golden Labrador. The DNA test is good, I bought one years ago, thinking one of my Dalmatians was mixed with pit bull, turned out he's just a poorly bred Dalmatian. |

Truer words have never been spoken. I do see a bit of that husky attitude in the last pic. What are everybody's thoughts on the tail marking? Do other breeds have that as well? About how old do you think she is now? How much does she weigh? |

| BTW, the third picture with the back and side view reminds me of a corgi, the way the back, neck, and ears , come together. A nice puppy regardless of what its make-up is! |

I might do the DNA test is it the one at petsmart or the one you get at the vets. ( the vet is the blood test) I will post what she is once I get the test done. |

Mouthy? If you mean by biting she crews on anything and everything including my carpet. If you mean noise she howls a little which is so ute ( this is why I thought she was a husky) but she also barks a lot. |

| I fostered a Husky mix and she looks similar to my little ex foster. The ears too. And that tail mark looks super husky if not then part Malamute. |

| What a cutie! You guys are amazing to open your home to her. She looks like a fennec fox haha. No joke. Someone on the street asked us if Gus was a fennec fox once. He was much younger at the time. But STILL!!!! He was still huge! |

| GSDs, my sable GSD had it, have it, as do Malinois, certain colors on Am. pit bulls, Am. Staffs, Staffords, Anatolian shepherds, Leonbergers, the list goes on. My cousins boxer/pit cross has it. It used to be taught that only wolves had it and that it's related to the gland on the back of the tail, but it occurs with certain colors, not breeds/species. |

Maybe they were related to the people who stopped me on the street and insisted Nunya was a wolf because he's white with blue eyes |

| haha i get the wolf question A LOT! Interesting though, that we get asked that LESS often now that he's older and bigger and has less of a puppy face haha. Maybe his wolfy puppy face grew into a husky face |
