Just cruising through petfinder as I often do looking at Huskies and came across this fella. Do you think there is a chance of wolf in him?

Wow, he's huge. I can see where someone would see wolf in there, and it's possible, but I think that could also come from a lot of other dog breed mixes such as German Shepherd.

I would think that if they suspect he is a wolf mix, the shelter would have to disclose that since wolf hybrids are illegal depending on your state. I don't know though.

The things that would make me think it could possibly be a hybrid are the size, ears and the feet. He has massive oval shaped feet. The ears are larger and rounded. I see possibly shepherd/malamute mix, with a possibility of some percentage of wolf. I don't see much husky in there honestly. Also, I could be wrong, but he doesn't look 10 years old. It almost looks like the growth plates are still open in his legs. I wonder if they meant 10 months...

The rounded ears were what I noticed as well.

My vote is for Malamute/Shepherd. He's beautiful regardless. If he were closer I would do some serious work to try and fit him in with us and our hell-hound.
