| I would love to meet up with other owners and their huskies and have play dates! I am hoping to start training for bikejoring in the next couple of weeks if anyone is interested in that also! |

| Hi! My name is Angelina and I saw your post. We are not currently living in Louisiana, but we are moving there in March. We will be stationed at Barksdale AFB. We have 2 huskies (Bandit and Rebel). We would love to meet when we get there! |

| That would be great! Hopefully, by March, the weather will still be nice for our huskies! i live 5 1/2 hours from Bossier City. There are some great bike trails between the two cities if ya'll ever want to meet up! I'm hoping to start bikejoring soon, if i can teach Cash how to lead properly! |

| That's wonderful! I can't wait to leave Japan! It's been 2 very long years! There's only a couple huskies here that I know, but Bandit doesn't get to play with them often! |

| A bit far, but I'm from Houma. When I get my pup and he's old enough, I plan on bringing him hiking. My friends and I usually go out to Clark Creek, no biking there, but the trails are fun. _________________ |

| Not yet! I'm waiting on a puppy from a breeder. They might have puppies in December or January so no puppy for me until Feb/March. It's okay though. I'm willing to wait! I met a couple at NOMA who had a husky and they said they have like 5-6 huskies that go to the dog park (City Bark?). Maybe try that out and you'll run into some other husky owners! _________________ |

| We actually go to City Bark sometimes when we're visiting the in laws. I've seen a few Huskies there, and it's a really nice park. We might actually have some time to swing by there on Sunday on our way back to FL _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | I definitely agree with you! i have seen the park before and it's like doggie heaven! I actually took Cash to Cabrini dog park Saturday; though not as nice, all the other dog owners were very nice and Cash had a blast! |

Hey Angelina - I live in Shreveport, LA! I have a few friends with huskies - that are not on this site - we could always set up a local meet once you move to the area!! However, I would LOVE a BIG meet of all these lovely huskies & their owners sometime! I don't get mine until the beginning of March though |

| I forgot about the La Quintas! I read some pretty horrible reviews about the Red Roof Inn in Natchez, which makes me want to sleep in my car instead. Lol. _________________ |

| We stayed in a La Quinta when we did the big move a few weeks ago and they were really nice. They technically have a 2 pet limit, but since I showed them we were moving on military orders they made sure the limit was waived since we had the 2 cats and 2 dogs. I'd definitely stay at a La Quinta again. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | I'm happy to see there are huskies in this area! I just moved to Starkville, MS in Aug for grad school and my almost-11 year old husky gets a lot of attention here. She's so spoiled <3 If anyone is in this area I'd love to meet up for a doggy date! |

| That's awesome! I really would like to do something. I just don't know when. The heat is coming and Mishka isn't done with his puppy shots (Tuesday!) but we just bought a house and have no idea when we'll be able to really go anywhere that would require us to spend the night. | Alyne, if you're on facebook check for Husky Huddle and Malamute Mingle of Florida. I was running that H2M2 when I lived in Pensacola and they aren't as active since I left, but they do have meets from time to time around Pensacola.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/H2M2.Florida/
There is a Facebook page for Alabama too, but despite efforts to clean it up it's a lot of BYB's advertising litters and I don't think the Pensacola meet ups are being announced on that one anymore. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword.
