| So... Back around a month ago I made a thread about how I had an encounter with our neighbor's husky and basically the end result of that was them helping me get into contact with their dog's breeder. Unfortunately for some reason I can't remember it didn't work out; and on top of that, most of the other reputable breeders in this area didn't have any plans for a litter anytime soon/didn't reply to my original email (apparently if you go around on the internet telling people you're a teen looking for a dog they'll often think you're a prankster, who knew? xD ) However just when things were looking not so great ccurran07 sent me a pm and told me about her breeder. So I decided to send the breeder a message and checked out her website, and I must say that I was beyond impressed. She answered all of my questions and was very good about returning my emails to me. The next step was to go up for a visit to meet her in real life. We went up on Labor day despite all the traffic/rain and once again I was very impressed, although I didn't give her a deposit that day as we agreed to wait until the second litter was born (she was having two litters for those who haven't been following ccurran07's thread). Anyways as you probably have guessed by now, the second litter was born earlier this week and I was finally able to mail out a deposit today! (I went down the the post office and of course my mom had to tell the whole world what I was doing... xD ) The reason I didn't make a thread about this or tell anyone sooner was because I wanted to wait until I had actually signed a contract/placed a deposit first, in case anything happened. So yeah, in about 7 and a half weeks (November 11th-ish) I'll finally be able to reach the goal I started a year ago! Also I'd like to give a huge shout out/thank you to ccurran07 for helping me find a breeder. I'd also like to thank Wpskier222, blueeyedghost, Niraya, Huskyluv, Mobezilla, Sheba&Kennedy, and tons of other people who I'm sure I forgot as well (basically everyone on the forum since you were all really helpful, lol) you guys are awesome! Oh yeah, here's a link to the pics of the litter: http://www.kennedysleddogs.com/plannedlitterskermitxarrow.htm I talked it over with the breeder and it's decided that I'm going to get one of the two black and white males (not piebald though). Edit: Oh I almost forgot, if anyone wants to help me out with names that would be awesome! The only thing I prefer is that the name is rather unique/not already on the forums. (My names stink; Sonic, Sasuke, Oreo etc. this is what happens when I think of randomly stupid names off the top of my head )

| Congratulations, I remembered reading on some thread that you came to Maine, and I assumed it must mean that you are getting a puppy here! Did you decide on a boy or girl or come up with any names? I'm sure you will be a great husky owner, and for sure catch up on your sleep now! Also those are beautiful parents, and the puppies have some very interesting markings. I love Dash and Starbuck! |

| Ah, I'll definitely be getting one of the Black and White Males, so either "Dash" or "Helo" but I have no idea on what to call him. Name help is very appreciated! xD |

| I don't have any name suggestions right now but I will try to think. There is just something so cute about Dash, he looks like he will be sweet with just the right amount of attitude! |

| Aw, congratulations! I'm so happy things are working out for you They both look like they're going to have similar masks to Shadow, hopefully they don't fade over time. When we were deciding on names for Shadow, Aaron and I sat down and made a list of all the names we liked. Then we kept narrowing it down until we settled on Shadow. Is there any kind of theme you might be thinking of? Like maybe Russian type names, video game or book characters, things like that. Aaron is a meteorologist, so we had a lot of weather related names on our list. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | @siku&nikolai: I know right? Originally I was just going to drop everything and lay a deposit on Dash, but something is telling me that I should wait a bit and see how they develop first. Hopefully I'll be going back up there the weekend after my birthday, maybe I'll be able to decide then! xD @blueeyedghost: I like Shadow's mask and am glad to hear that they might turn out like her! As for names, as long as it sounds cool and is relatively unique I don't really care too much. Be it based of Russian, Video Games, the Weather etc. @Mobezilla: It is really exciting! I also like the names Zoro and Tsume (did you just reference Wolf's Rain? :O ) So those are some good suggestions! @jbealer: That exactly what my mom said! To say that I disagree with her would be a lie too, if worst comes to worst then I could just get Dash and not change his name, lol. |

| I'm so excited for you Aidan!! Not going to lie, I can't wait to see them myself too Dash and Starbuck are my favorite ( she looks similar to Polaris from Roxanne's litter so obviously I'm biased lol) I will get some pictures when I go to Rachel's because you never know what your preference will be in a few weeks when their little personalities start to come out! Either way I'm sure your pup will be great because Arrow and Kermit are awesome congrats again. |

Yes.. yes I did References are from Bleach, Yu Yu Hakusho, Darker than Black, One Piece, Code Geass, and Wolf's Rain. I'm also trying to think up more names and all I can think of is Kaname, Kanade, Zero, Yuzuru, Ayato, Yukihira, Haruka, Rei, or Gareki. (more references being Vampire Knight, Angel Beats, Shokugeki no Soma, Free Iwatobi Swim Club, Karneval). If you give me some more of your interests I can try to brainstorm more name choices for ya but at the moment anime names are my favorite xD |

| @ccurran07: Yup the next time I go up there I'll have to take more pics myself! Personality is also going to be a thing, when I see them in person I'll have to see what their personalities are like. However until then, one cannot simply have enough puppy pictures. @Mobezilla: Anime names! I tried to think of some, but I kept returning to FMA, Naruto, and Fire Emblem/Avatar (if they count) names. So I eventually just gave up on them, although I forgot about over half of the characters you mentioned, silly me! xD |

| CONGRATS! You are in for the ride of your life . You'll know the name as soon as you see your pup. I have never been able to pre-name my dogs except for Kennedy. I saw her face on Pet Pardons FB page and I knew right away what her name was. If it doesn't come to you right away, wait until your pup comes home and you spend a couple days with him; then you'll know . |

| Congrats! I really like Dash and Starbuck! I'm a bit of an anime fan my self. My favorite of all time being Yu Yu Hakusho. Gotta love the classics.
I agree with Kelsey. I think the name will really come once you get to meet the pup and see his personality! |

Yusss!!! you deserve a high five I did suggest Yusuke, oh my gosh although I will say I am a /huge/ fan of popular ones like Bleach and One Piece and really getting into more recent ones like Free and Attack on Titan, I feel bad that the older ones don't quite get the same attention. Oh and I forgot to mention for a name for the pup - who could forget Vash the Stampede?! So Vash, or Wolfwood are suggestions I'm putting up. |

I've been watching Attack on Titan but I've fallen behind. I haven't had much time anymore to watch stuff. :/ School and work have taken over my life. I don't even touch my tv anymore lol. |
