My Husky Meeko is really lean and doesn't eat allot. After trying to get him to eat many different brands. I have switched him to Solid Gold Large Breed Puppy. I still have to bribe him to eat with beef broth over the food.  He turned a year old in Oct.. I would like to see him bulk up and look more healthy. I plan on starting to give him a boiled egg at each feeding. I would like to start a supplement but I heard that to much calcium is not good for them. I also read about brewers yeast added to food makes them eat more. Does anyone have any suggestions?

If he only turned one this October, then give him time to develop. Huskies can take up to 2 or 3 years to fully develop (depending on the lines they come from). How much does he weigh right now? Can you see his ribs or hips sticking out. Do you have to press against his rib cage to feel it? Do you have any pictures?

Stark's about 1 1/2 years old, and hovering around 45 - 47 lbs, but his chest still needs to deepen and he still needs to fill out. Until he's fully done growing, I'm not going to be worried too much about his weight. His ribs and hips say he's in a pretty good place. A lot of people comment that he's small for a husky, but with the number of poorly bred huskies out there, it wouldn't be uncommon for people to think that.

I'm not 100% sure, but I've read in several places and been advised not to gives dogs raw bread dough or anything with active yeast in it because their stomachs run at a higher temp than humans and the yeast can activate and severely bloat their stomachs and cause issues. Not sure if brewers yeast is the same as regular yeast and if it'll cause the same issues. I'd do a quick search or call your vet just to make sure before you add it as a supplement.

Thank you for your responses I think he is ok on weight. He is skinny but not to skinny, just lean. I am wondering about vitamin options that work well with him. We just got a five month old Husky that has twice the muscle he does and eats more then he does. She makes him look malnourished. I think I might try some of those satin balls I read about for him.

Yes Nichole you are correct about the bread dough. Brewers yeast is a supplement for dogs. It helps there digestive system.

Like Angela said I wouldn't be too worried, unless they come from the same blood lines huskies can vary drastically is weight, height, and girth. Jasper is only 7.5mo and he is a lot bigger than most 1-2 year olds that he plays with at the dog park. That being said, only you know what is 'normal' and I'm sure adding supplements wouldn't hurt since he's over a year.

We feed Jasper kirkland brand premium dog food from Costco, it's a 4 star brand and cheaper than most other premium foods. When I first got Jasper and asked my vet about food she suggested choosing a food with high protein to ensure more muscle mass since huskies are large-breed dogs.

Sunnysade... Unless you really go digging into their pedigree and have the same lines (from the same responsible breeder), you really can't compare two huskies. Even in working huskies, their weight can range a lot.
