So I live in Fenton, Michigan.... There is a new dog park being built in Grand Blanc, at the Creasey Bicentennial Park.

Their grand opening is October 27th, for a HOWL-O-WEEN event.

Just thought that I would shout out to the Michiganders that may be close enough to come check it out! I most certainly will be there....

I checked it out about 2 weeks ago, they didn't have all the fences up yet, but they have a ton of obstacle stuff everywhere and lots of open space. I am particularly excited about this, considering I don't have a fenced yard for Okami to play, so it is going to be a wonderful thing for us when my fiance has days off...

I messaged them and they told me it will be free until 2014 to play there.

They're building a dog park in the next city over (which is about 20 minutes from me). It's so exciting when you don't have to drive an hour or more to visit a dog park!

Hopefully the Howloween event is fun.

Looks like it is gonna be a pretty nice park. We have one but it sucks. It is nothing more than a 1 acre fenced in area. No shelter, no obstacles, just sand and half the park in trees. Plus they keep raising our rates. 

That's cool. I wish we had a dog park around here. Not that we could go since Kenzi would try to eat the other dogs, but if she wouldn't it would be nice.

Awesome, My city has 6 "off leash parks" but none of them fenced in (not so good for huskies). Going to try one that's a 40 min drive away this weekend that's fenced. Kye's been off leash with dogs before though and if they stay close he stays close to them.
