so i have been contacting a Siberian Husky shelter not far from where i live and they have this handsome fellow. he has a light brown mask around his eyes and some light brown on his hind legs, i don't think i have seen this on many huskies in my researching Could he be a mix?

Looks full husky to me. The light brown on the legs is very common in gray & white and black & white sibes. The mask may have been darker as a pup, but is fading with age. He's a handsome fella.

Thanks you for the input! if he is a mix its not really a deal breaker but i was just curious. I'm getting so anxious for the rescue shelter to call me so i can come meet him!!

doesnt look like a mix at all. my husky has very similar coloring. her mask doesnt have brown in it but she has brown on her legs in some places and shes full husky. Everything about that pup says husky to me

i would also say full husky, good luck with the shelter!

Our Paw Paw is a black & white purebred Siberian, and he has the light brown markings on all 4 legs, but not on his face. And yeah, like everyone else said, this dog looks full husky to me. Good luck!

He looks to be all husky to me, my boy has light brown on his back legs too. When I asked the breeder about it she said it was common in non red sibes who carry the red genes. He certainly is gorgeous, good luck for the adoption!
