So how often do you food your dogs green tripe? How much is to much? I'm ordering through a co-op and am getting a case which is 35lbs along with 50lbs of beef heart and 40lbs of steer liver. I individually bag every meal and freeze it so I want to make sure I don't feed her to much tripe.( She's mainly on chicken and I'm slowly introducing beef soon, the tripe won't be here for 6 weeks.)

Depending on its weight, for example, my 4 year dog weight 23kg, and his daily intake (3%) should be just under 700g, and Tripe as an organ should takes (5%) 35g daily. However, in our case, he often have every other day so that would be 70g, sometimes even on a weekly base. But I would not do this for liver as I am worry he will be over intake for the Vit. A.

I thought that green tripe was neither muscle or organ but more like a hybrid of the two and you can feed more than the normal % of organ component. Probably divide the 80% muscle meat to 50% muscle and 30% green tripe and you will have a good meal. You could probably use more on occasions once your dog is used to it.
