Hi guys, this is Aron and I am Kiril wave
Greetings from Aron! Dsc_2210
He is almost 3 months and I have the weird feeling that he's been with me for my whole life...Smile His eyes are green, with Cappuccino colored coating and light brownish colored back. He has his mum's coating, while his father is absolutely white:

In my childhood I used to have 3 German Shepherds and 1 Street Dog in different places around my country, so he is my first Husky and pup I take full care of and I'm kind of new to the Husky Thing. All the other guys are gone now and I was studying in England for the last 4 years and couldn't get a dog due to the cosntant travelling I did in the last years. I decided as soon as I finish my BA and MA degrees to get hold on a husky pup.

Some people were trying to convice me to go again for a Shepherd, because of the temperament of the huskies, however I am amazed of the calmness and obedience levels he has. He is rly playful as well and loves to storm my bed, lick my face and bite me on the head every morning untill I get out of it for a walk with him.
(here he is playing with my aunt's Shepherd)

A lot of people were telling me that they are "stupid" dogs which is sort of a "stupid" statement either from ignorant people or bad pack leaders.
Aron learnt withing 48 hours that he is not allowed to do number 1 and 2 in the apartment and actually he made up his own sign to inform me that he needs to go out!! For the really basic commands, such as: sit, come, come fast, lay down, don't, I spent no more than 90 minutes althogether, which is something I really love to show to people who dare to question a husky intellegence Very Happy:D:D

I'm considering to continue his training on my own avoiding any kind of dog schools or stuff like that. So far the reward training technique and the tips from the Dog Whisperer on the telly are working perfectley.

I'd love to hear from you guys any suggestions regarding the training techniques or heads up of what I should prepare myself for in the future!!! Very Happy

Hello and welcome! I also have my first husky puppy, though my Jasparr is a few weeks older then your Aron. Huskies are a very intelligent dog, just wilfull. I am pleased to hear of your success with your training so far. The main benefit to dog schools i would say would be socialization. If your own training is working and he's meeting other dogs and people regularly, the you. might not need a school. If you aren't able to meet up with other dogs or people, a school might be a good chance for him.

I guess I might skip the school for now, as when we go out, even for 20 minutes, he draws all the attention with his cuteness, which apparently is in abundance. All the dogs want to meet him and all people want to pet him as he is so fluffy Very Happy
I hope he'll keep up with the good behaviour as he is truly an awesome puppy to be around : ))
