Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule. |

| I'm so excited today, the breeder I've been in contact with for the last few weeks emailed me back this morning and invited my boyfriend and I to come visit!! It's been such a process to get to this point, the first time I enquired about a puppy I had to wait a week and a half to hear back from them, and when I did they sent me a 4 page email listing all the reasons why I DONT want a husky or what to look for in OTHER breeders and listed some rescue sites. Then I sent them an email describing what kind of people we were, our plans for the puppy where we would keep it, what other animals ect ect and finally heard back from them this morning (about a week and a half later again!) saying they would like to invite us out to meet face to face (of course there email had more warnings about sibes lol) I'm so excited, especially with my disappointment when the other breeder I was in contact with turned out to be shady. This breeder seems to generally care about the well-being of their dogs offspring and wont place a pup with just anyone, and like I said in a previous post, they have a gorgeous pack!! http://www.snowpacksiberians.com/dogs.html I'm one step closer to finally getting my husky!! |

| Yay! That's great news!! Are they mushers then? If their site says so, I must have missed it, but they sort of allude to it. _________________ www.itsahuskything.com It's a husky thing... you wouldn't understand. |

| I believe they have a cabin that you can rent out for holidays and then they'll take you on dog sled tours They were vary adamant in their emails that their dogs are working dogs and they work hard to make sure all of their dogs and breeding pairs have titles I think it would be awesome to stay there overnight (may have to talk my boyfriend into that one) and go on some tours, considering it is a 4.5hour drive away. The breeder is located in a really small town (population 500) so it would make for a relaxing get away |
