| Nanook is 10 months now and about 51 lbs. Amy and I are looking into different activities for him to do and are thinking of getting an xback harness for him. should we wait to do this until he's older or would we be ok getting one now? |

| I've been told to wait until 18 months for pulling activities, plus you want their growth plates to form and huskies can grow up until 2 years old. I just bought Link's x-back harness and he's 19 months.
I also didn't order mine from alpine though and it only took the lady a week to make and shipping shouldn't take more than 2 weeks, so I'm getting it fairly quickly.

| Juneau is 16 months and I ordered her harness a few months ago. She doesn't pull yet, but I wanted to get it before the winter rush (where it can take up to 2-3 months). You're in a tough spot... She stopped getting taller about a few months ago, she's around 22-23 inches tall now. Weighs 52 lbs!
It really depends on the dog if they've stopped growing or not. If I were you, I'd probably wait at least one more month before ordering one. |

Yeah, your pup might have some growing to do still! She may fill out a little bit. The x back requires a neck measurement, a measurement from the front of the chest to the last rib, and a measurement from the last rib to the base of the tail. You can purchase an adjustable harness, but a properly fitted custom harness would make your pup feel more comfortable. Your call! |
