| Hello,
I love the name Welcome Mat for introducing yourself!
We just got a husky from a rescue group. She is around 1 yrs old and only 35 lbs. She is cinnamon and white with blue eyes. She is beautiful and after a couple of days with her we named her Willow. We are registered and will start obedience training next week. We are so excited, she has brought so much life into this house.
When hubby and I were first married, he had a husky named Kimo, hence my user name. Kimo is no longer with us but he was a fantastic furkid. I brought to the marriage cats. Yes at the most we had 7 cats. We have lost 3 this year, 2 of them were 20 yrs old and the other was 14 yrs old. We still have 3 cats who we love dearly.
Anyway, that is a little about me and I am looking forward to nosing around this forum and getting to know all of you. |

| Thank you Koda.
When we first talked to the rescue people, they said they were going to take Willow into the cat section and see what happens. My husband and I thought.... why are they going to stress a cat out!
Ranger, our cat, lifts his paw and Willow goes the other way. We rescued Ranger from the same town that Willow came from.
I have a picture of Willow in my avatar finally. Not sure yet how to put pics in my post.
Anyway, thanks for the welcome!
Koda and Hailey are beautiful. |

| Ha! I guess it was always up to the cats to accept Willow then? Talk about being outnumbered.
Welcome! |
