Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! | Just a quickie intro!
My name is Sammy, from the UK, imported to Houston, Texas around 15yrs ago. Married with too many kids (23,19,16,6,3)!!
I am not new to the doggy world. I have trained police and high level competition dogs for around 15yrs. Owned a boarding kennel, originally for training working dogs, then switched to boarding for rescues and dogs with aggression issues that needed evaluation, training and behavior modification.
I also own a business providing raw meals for pets, I am very much into the raw diet. We had to do a lot of research and have our product approved for correct nutritional value, so I know a little about that stuff!
Right now? We are business 'free'. We closed up shop on everything for various personal reasons a few months ago. Will re-open at a later date.
As long as I can remember, I wanted a Husky. Many things in the past have kept me from this dream. Mainly having too many dogs on my plate with with the kennels and working club. Prior we have raised German Shepherds and Malinois. We are also great fans of Molossers and have owned many.
With life finally settling down for us and becoming something other than constant training, raw food and boarding kennels, I went on a mission to find my dream dog that I have wanted for around 25 years...and I did. MaMoosh is 9 weeks old and TROUBLE!
In addition to him, we currently have two working DDR Shepherds, a senior Cocker, a very miserable 15yr old kitty and 2 four month old Persian kittens!
Very much looking forward to "meeting" with everyone! |

| Thanks for the welcome! Actually, my house isn't as full as it sounds! Skin-kid wise the 23yr old lives in the UK right now, my 19yr old is a Sailor, so just the 16yr old and the littles at home. Fur kid wise, the working GSDs are kennel dogs - they would NOT be happy living in the house! So even though 3 kids, 3 cats and 2 dogs sounds like a house-full... it is quite lightweight for us! Love the pic in your signature of your kids |

| I'd like to welcome you too and I want to see pix of all your pups. What is a Molosser? And I'm interested to hear your training experiences with your husky and how it compares to your working dogs. |

| Welcome! Another fellow Texan. If you're up for it, feel free to join our Husky Huddle and Malamute Mingle group for Houston!! I haven't attended one yet because it's early (I like to sleep in on the weekend lol). They're on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/groups/151649078238987/ There's one this weekend. Not sure if I'm going. We're gonna buy a car pretty soon so I don't know if I'll have time or not. Welcome again! Post lots of pictures. |
