As expected, we have begun to accumulate quite the assortment of dog gear for all occasions. We have a very small house with not a lot of storage options, so just looking for some creative suggestions for storing gear. Right now, the joring belt set up is stored in a plastic bag stuffed up in a cabinet in the laundry room/back porch So how do you all store your gear? Bonus points for pictures!

I just have everything shoved into a large Rubbermaid, which is probably not the best method, because it's a pain in the butt to dig something out.

The sled hangs from the rafters in the garage when it's off season. The cart collapses down and fits under the workbench also in the garage. The storage bin containing all the gangline, repair kits, other mushing items sits on top of the cart. We have a large rubermaid cabinet for the miscellaneous dog supply items like shampoos, e-collars, bins for extra collars. Pretty much everything goes in smaller bins inside the larger cabinet and is labeled for storage.

Our stuff is in various places all over the house. I have a bunch of stuff that we don't frequently use stored in a duffle bag in one of my upstairs guest bedroom closets. A bunch of toys and dog blankets in my closet on the top shelves. The most frequently used items are stored in a wicker basket by the front door for easy access. Moderately used items are kept hanging in the closet under the stairs, easier to access than the stuff upstairs, but out of sight so that the house doesn't look all cluttered. My vast collection of food, treats, supplements, meds, etc are scattered throughout 2 kitchen cabinets, a shelf in the pantry, and the pantry floor. And the bikejoring stuff is in the garage with my bike. I think that about covers all dog related stuff. _________________

Leashes and harness are hung on hooks by the front door. Extra ones are kept in a wire waste basket by the front door. toys and bones and such are kept in a basket by the fireplace. I also have hooks by the back door for leashes we take them out after dark on a leash. dog treats supplements and the such are kept in a basket in the kitchen. grooming stuff is kept in the laundry room cabinet. My huskies have multiple beds or pillows one each in the living room and bedroom. We also have both crates set up in the living room we used them as tables.

Thanks for all your input! We don't have a lot of floor space to add any kind of cabinets or bins. I'd like to be able to hang things, but since our house is a rental with plaster walls, we've been hesitant to put things into the walls. We've got a wire baker's rack in the mudroom, so maybe I'll look for some bins to put in that...

I also hang up frequently used harnesses/leashes by the door. Everything else goes into a collapsible storage ottoman that also works as a seat in the living room. Looks similar to the one below: Toys, treats, supplements, etc. go in there. There is a divider inside that somewhat organizes the stuff, but it is kind of a hassle to lift up the lid and rummage before finding what I'm looking for, but I deal with it because I like collapsible furniture with multiple functions.

over the door storage Before we bought our house we used an over the door storage rack. We had it on the inside of a closet door and on the inside or a pantry door. Now we have similar racks but they are screwed into the walls.
