Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. | A bit of a drive for me I am afraid, but I do go out that way sometimes here and there.. I live in Fenton, about a 25 minute drive from Flint. (But I am in a REALLY nice neighborhood, nothing like the dreaded Flint... bleck hehe) |

| I lived in Lansing for about 15 years, so all my friends are out there, so I visit somewhat frequently... I have no friends here in Fenton *Forever alone* lmao jk ... nah, Fenton is not exactly a "Flint area" I am closer to the more well known Grand Blanc or Holly. Either which way, the area I am in is like a Lake house area or whatever... (Lake Fenton is about a 5 minute walk from my house.) |

| I'm in Ann Arbor.
With Rikku being so young though, I'm sure he hasn't had all of the puppy shots. You really shouldn't be taking him out anywhere in public where other dogs have been. You should only take him to meet other dogs that you are sure have been fully vaccinated in places that only that dog has been. No dog parks, public parks, pet stores, etc... |

oh nice, lansing isnt too bad, ive really only passed through it, but have been to a couple concerts and such. oh i use to have a roommate from grand blanc (she moved to GR for schooling) and yea i know, i watch where i take her, and am very careful about what other dogs i let her meet to make sure that they are fully UTD, just want to get her socialized a little, and i figured by the time something would be set up she would be a bit older. |

| I don't have a fenced in yard, but my back yard is HUGE, so lots of room to wear puppies down, I would be willing to travel, but I have a 4 year old daughter, it is easier to keep her in her element in the process of meeting new puppies and people, so I don't have to be worried about 2 children at someone's place lol. |

| heck i drive an hour to work as it is, anything less then an hour i barely consider a drive so two hours isnt bad too me at all rikku doesnt mind car rides after the first ten minutes, if we were to come out that far for a meet, i would have to wait till she is a hair older so she doesnt wear out too quickly haha.. even though im not sure she wears out yet, i keep trying but she always has a reserve energy |
