Since it's official, I thought I would make a thread for my little punkin. I do need to come up with a registered name for her though. I was thinking: Kennedy's Irish Blessing, since her name is Gaelic for beautiful/precious. However, it seems a little generic to me. So if you have any suggestions. Until then...cute puppy pics :)She'll be coming home October 13th!

OH MY LORD, my pup is seriously adorable!!!!!! She's 5 weeks old today. I get to visit next week and snuggle her

I can't believe how much she's changed just in the week she's been home!!

Here's 10 weeks:




11 weeks, she went to the vet today, weighs 14.8 lbs! getting huge

I have to schedule a vet visit for Layla next week for her rabies shot. I'm guessing she probably weighs around 14 pounds too. I'll report back!

She is too cute! Mishka was 14lbs at 8 weeks so be grateful! Lol.

Ok I've been slacking on the pics and updates. UGH!

Here's 12 weeks, passed out after her first time at daycare :

Haha, that last photo gets me. Layla does the same thing: "If I look up at you and sit nicely I get a treat, right?"

She looks like she's getting a little fluffier or more muscular than Layla. I think Layla's conformation takes more after Roxanne. Her legs are getting really long and she's lanky. She sits JUST like Roxanne, too, with the slightly arched back. Maybe Caoimhe's got more of Trigger in her conformation-wise? Or it could be their growth spurts are different. So hard to tell at this age!

Anyway, I love the pics. It's fun watching our girls grow!

Caoimhe is SUPER fluffly. It's like all of a sudden her undercoat puffed up and shes turned from black to dilute with this dark black stripe down her back. Last week I was looking at her, and it looked like her back legs had shot up and she was almost uneven looking lol.

I think she does take after Trigger more though, which I'm fine with as I LOVE him! I can't wait until we can get the girls side by side to see.

Layla's pretty dilute, too. Some parts of her coat have turned gray, but her head is still mostly black. I'm glad she's kept the little heart on her head, too, haha. Caoimhe definitely has her beat on fluffiness! I think Atticus is the same way.

I love Trigger too! We always asked Rachel to go see him whenever we'd visit, haha. Our girls have two great parents; Rachel said they're buddies too. Their temperaments and looks complement each other well, so it ended up being a pretty good pairing. Maybe she'll pair them again sometime!
