Subject: Nicky, Hayden, & Brandi - Present Mon Aug 20, 2012 9:22 am
Instead of having two separate scrapbooks for Nicky & Hayden, I'm just making a new one of them together. So I'll be adding all recent pictures to this thread and keeping all puppy pictures on their other personal threads.
We went to the country this weekend and took Nicky and Hayden. Our first stop was at a pastry shop to have breakfast, where Nicky and Hayden split their own thanksgiving sandwich (homemade bread, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and turkey). We then went to Hollin Farms and picked raspberries. It was really hot, so we didn't get to stay long. From there we went to The Apple House for BBQ sandwiches (dog's got a burger though) . Then, we went to an Amish market for homemade spices, herbs, and bread. They had a petting farm with turkey's, rabbits, goats, geese, chickens, etc. The pups were really interested in them lol. We ended our trip at my sisters grandmommy's cattle farm. Nicky got to see horses and cows for the first time. We took a 2 mile hike through the pastures to a big fenced in pond where they got to go off leash and played in the water the entire time swimming! It was an awesome day and they crashed HARD as soon as we got home.
- Starting the trip off - Checking out the jogger - Hanging out with my sister Miranda
- Having breakfast turkey sandwich - MmMm - Playing tourist - With my mom and sister at the raspberry farm - Hanging out in the raspberry bush - Leading us down the raspberry aisle - Looking at Hayden on the other side of the bush
- He was so hot - MmMm blackberries - Thankfully they had a hose we cooled them down with - "Thank you grandma for letting us drink out of you're hand"
- "Ahhh...back in A/C" - Tired already? - HaHa nope! - He spotted the animals at the petting farm - "LET ME AT THEM!!" - "OK! Now what, there's a cage blocking dinner!"
- "wtf are you suppose to be?" - "omg what is that?!" - posing pretty
- Rolling all in the country grass hehe - Snuggle buddies - Miranda wanted in on it too lol
- "We're freeeee"
- They spotted the horses - "CHARGE!!!!" - "RETREAT!!!"
- "OH HELL NO! I'M OUT!" - Time to go home
- Exhausted - Finally home ... - Goodnight

Yes...I have been to the last two MotoGP races at Indy but did not make it this year. Nicky's get-off in the qualifying round Saturday was frightening...they were high-siding like the old days of monster two-stroke 500's. Even though I am a Yamaha guy ( ride an FJR1300 and am delighted that Vale is returning to Mama Yamaha next season) I have always thought the Haydens were a class act. Apparently so do the Ducatisti...he has done his best to tame the Desmo Demon and they recognize his hard work. My Sibe's name is "Yuri" but I guess I could have named him "Valentino"
- Puppy love - who sleeps with a foot on their head...my dog lol - Relaxing in the new dog bed - Digging in the turtle - Their first time out at the dog park. They were tag teaming a poor little dog. - "we wouldn't do anything like that" - Hanging out in the turtle at the dog park
just catching up, LOVED the trip you were on, that sounded like my kind of day and the pups were having a blast. i just kept thinking when looking at the berry pictures if they peed on any of the bushes and if some poor person came by later and picked a peed on berry to eat!

It was a great day. Funny you should say that about the peeing on the berries, I thought the same thing! I made sure to to take them potty before picking berries and thankfully Hayden still squats and doesn't mark, so that was a plus.
That picture of Hayden sleeping with his feet over his head is too cute! Ghost is a total contortionist when she sleeps too. Weird dogs...
On a side note, I seriously can't wait to meet you guys. We need to plan for a little meet up after I get settled up there (mid December)

I know we can't wait either! A meet up for sure will have to be arranged! There are quite a few Huskies in the area and a friend is getting a Tamaskan female next month, so I'm sure they would be interested too! She said she would be joining the forum soon.

OOOHHH!!! A Tamaskan!! That's really cool. Are there any formal meet up groups up there yet? If not, I fully intend on starting up an H2M2 like I did down here, I just haven't had time to dig too far into that yet. I'll give you a shout when I have more concrete info on the move, should be by the end of this week.
