Figured i'd get out an enjoy the nice weather before winter sets in so i took the pups on a few short little hikes in the blue ridge mountains today. The scenery is one of the only reasons I enjoy virginia.

Overall a fun way to enjoy the day Love huskies and their drive to just go go go! My other dog about gave up through the last 2 mile trail..haha

I will say that is the only thing i really miss from PA, the Woods, a real dense tree filled woods, not just aspens and pine trees like we have in CO. great pictures!

I assume since you are in roanoke you have been to the peaks of otter? I love it up there! we had a great camping trip at the camp ground a few weeks ago

Actually I haven't yet. I've only lived here since may so I haven't had the chance to do too much exploring yet soon enough. Thanks for bringing it up though looks like a beautiful place! I'll check it out soon

Such gorgeous scenery! My boy loves hiking too- your pup is beautiful! I live in AZ so everything is dead looking haha. One good thing about AZ though is I can hike all throughout the winter - no snow here - but then again I can't even step outside during the summer it's so hot.
