I need help identifying if this dog a pure breed.  I am thinking about adopting her.

Yes I agree being purebred should not be a deciding factor but it does affect the price. The real reason I want to adopt her is I cant stand seeing her tied to that tree. Her current family does not treat her very well so I stepped in and asked to buy her. Thank you for the welcome and info.

Welcome to the forum, she looks purebred to me but to be honest you should not be paying tons of money for her in a rescue situation, purebred or not. The family selling would just be greedy and may lie about her pedigree just to get more from you. Although I think its great you're trying to help her from that situation. Do you know where she's located? She actually looks like what could be one of Yuki's siblings that we've never heard from the owners about so I'm a bit curious, we never even found out what they had named their pup.

Are you trying to determine if she's a purebred or are you trying to find out for the owners so they can decide on a price?
If the owners don't know that tell them she's a mix so the don't charge as much. If she has no vet care either, like shots or being spayed, try to knock some of that off the price too because those are costly. No training? Try for that too. Thanks for trying to help her! Hopefully she gets out of the bad situation.

Thank you all! The dog is in Houston Texas. Unfortunately the owners are greedy and are asking quite a bit of money for her even though this has clearly become a rescue to save this poor husky. She has been given her shots and she is utd. She is a little skinny but not much. I know I can probably buy a different husky for less but I dont have the heart to walk away from her. She needs a better home. I thought maybe if she wasnt purebred i could use that as a way to lower the price. She is 6 months old and not trained so how hard will it be to house train her? Thanks again!

Maybe hard, maybe not. Being older she should catch on quicker, since she would have more bladder control quicker. I would introduce a crate to start. If you can't get her can you report them for neglect?
