Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.
This first video is a quick demonstration to grooming and to answer a few questions about the high velocity drier we use-
This video is another quick grooming demonstration- and how it works to blow out loose coat when wet. Denali demonstrates being a 'typical show dog' as he starts to blow coat right before a big show-
This video is to show the difference between adult and puppy coat- Enya is in a 'odd' phase where she has adult coat coming in but still is retaining puppy coat in some areas as well-
This video is to show how quick and easy blowing the coat out of a dry dog is- no brushing required

No problem! I've had a lot of questions about grooming and figured why not just show it! Sorry some of the footage is so-so...trying to groom with one hand and hold my phone (recording devise) proved rather challenging LOL

This is great Lani, thanks. I was drying Bode the other day with a HV for the first time and I was like "How do I even do this?"

For the most part it's just running the wand over the coat, by blowing up or against the natural lay of the coat you get really efficient separation of the individual hairs and quick drying. Plus a super fluffy looking puppy I'll work on more videos as time goes on as well.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if I should be brushing as I go or just blowing it all. It didn't really matter that much though as Bode was really not having it. Baby steps...
