2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.

You all are so nice here! I thought I'd ask if anyone has invented some good frozen treats?

I occasionally buy Frosty Paws, but it is not cost effective. I recently tried to do ice cubes with peanut butter and it turned out like this:

He seemed to like it pretty well, but it was gone in about fifty seconds :PThere is a frosty paws recipe but it requires a ton a fruit.

I buy a stuffed femur bone from Petsmart and when Meeka finishes it, I simply clean it and refill it with Kong's PB and stick it in the freezer.

I have one of those, I'll have to try that. I usually keep it away from him, since his idea of "giving" me a toy is throwing at me (those things hurt!)

I have mixed yogurt and pumpkin and placed in to a small bone shapes pan and frozen them. My pups like it.

You could use peanut butter or bananas or other fruits that are safe for dogs.

This it the pan I use.

Haha I can't tell you how many times Bode has dropped one of those on my bare feet. Ouch!

If you can get bananas just use this frosty paw recipe. It seems super easy and quick.

1 medium-sized Banana mashed
1 cup Plain Yogurt Low Fat
1/4 cup Peanut Butter, Creamy

I haven't made it yet, because I keep forgetting to get the yogurt when I go to the store, but I plan to do it soon and the website had a lot of positive reviews!

I make something similar to this that Jess from gone to the snow dogs put up on youtube. Pretty sure the only difference is a little bit of honey added to it. Lucian LOVES them. I've also added a bit of pumpkin to them as well.

I must get that pan, adorable! Thanks for the tips, guys Smile The only thing worse than having a bone dropped on your foot is the splinters some of them leave behind. Egads, those things are awful.
