| Kingsley is 7 months old and got neutered today. According to our vet & the vet tech, he did really well. Apparently, when he woke up, he was so "excited" (hyper probably), that he caused a minor hematoma. They said that they weren't going to send him home with a cone of shame or pain killers because he was doing so well, but now because of the hematoma, he needs to wear the cone for 3-5 days and will be in substantial pain. He's been whining all day. It's heartbreaking! vine.co/v/bleBLwEADjh (copy/paste link into your browser) Does anyone have any experience with dog's scrotal hematoma? When do you think he'll stop being in so much pain? Granted, I'm sure he's uncomfortable, but I'm starting to feel like his whining/crying is just frustration with the cone. He is your typical vocal husky. |

| Aw! The hematoma pain should subside within 4-7 days, every dog is different. Glad he's doing well! |

You may be right on target there. Link sounded PITIFUL the first couple days, he would whine and whine and whine. And then as soon as I took the cone off, he stopped whining and wagged his tail and laid near my feet. He's a big baby but I love him. I'm sure Kingsley will recover in no time! |

| Poor Kingsley! I hope the pain passes soon.
Mishka came to the computer when I played the video. He was getting closer and closer to the screen as the video kept replaying. It was so cute. Lol. _________________ |
