Forum Rules | 1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect. 2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff. 3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned. 4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. | I would think you should pull them apart if you feel it is getting out of hand.
Is the Aussi neutered? I am guessing he is and that it is a domance issue only.
Another thing I remember reading or a discussion about female Mal being aggressive towards other females. Maybe someone with a mal can add some insight to this I could find anything on it.
I wish someone with other dogs would give you some other insight. I think my limit expertance isn't much help. |

| It seems they're fighting for dominance in the house your aussie has prob been leader and now shes disrupted it I would maybe take turns crating them (having one crated having one out) until they can get used to one anothers presence and then monitor their play..... |

| Yesterday she was aggressive. Today sophia is allowing micole to do whatever she wants. She has taken bones away from her all morning and sophia has not started a fight at all with it. Yes my aussi is fixed. He is such a hard ass lol he picks every fight. She gets into his personal space he will go after her. When micole and sophia start to play fight riley see s it at a threat and wants to attack her again. Poor girl can not get a break. |

| Update!!!!!! Last fight with Sophia and Riley was a week ago. They growled like they were going to attack and walked away!! Very impressed!! Sophia allows Micole do whatever she wants to do.... she never ever bits Micole. Never snaps or anything. I am very amazed! She has been sleeping with us every night. She has never chewed on one thing. She has seperation anxity. I am working on it. I am still going to kennel train her. Just waiting on the funds to hit the account. But everyday she always seems to amaze me. I gave her first bath today and she lifts her paws and allows me to wash them. She turns around and let's me wash her butt and tail. But she is so lovable!!! |

| Agree it has been hell and for once I am not stepping on my tippy toes to make sure they don't get into a fight. For as big as she is.... she is nothing but a cuddle monster! Lol
