| Awe Thank you Jimmy:) I bet they are very close irl.
I am wondering how much more it will change! I notice the grey spot on her neck getting darker and the white spot on her forehead is getting alot of black around it it used to be a brown color, huskies fur is awesome lol |

| The ears, lol....why does everyone joke about gsd ears, haha. I think they are lovely ears. No he is just not as filled out, and his legs and body have not fully come in to their own. I have grown up with both breeds but never at the same time, now I can have a visual on the difference.

I notice the grey spot on her neck getting darker and the white spot on her forehead is getting alot of black around it it used to be a brown color, huskies fur is awesome lol Their coats are ever changing J, especially during their first few years or so...when I look at pics of Malukhai at a year old, and then see his pics a week before he passed away at 5, his coat is SO different, I'd say like a completely different dog but it's really not, but a significant difference for sure. Miya, to me, really looks more the silver/white than the basic grey/white and I know from Anuschka and my first husky, that the silver/whites go thru phases of having more black in them at times (like in the summer for their first few years) but ultimately they just get lighter and lighter. |

| Well sorry to break it to you Miya your gonna turn purple lol jk I love they change so much makes you play the guessing game. Her breeder wrote down dark grey too lol I hope she turns really light silver, would be very pretty. Do you have pictures posted up of them? I love your two they were gorgeous sibes. If I were to have to been able to choose any color, Miya would be it. I got lucky she was still available |

| LOL, purple??? Silver huskies, to me, are the most striking color for a husky. Miya is beautiful no doubt. Thank you J I don't have their pics here though, I didn't know about this site when I had them I wish I did though! You would really be able to see how they/and their coats changed. They were very pretty. |

| Lol I joke about that because of the whitening shampoo I use can leave a purple tinge if left on too long lol yikes!
If you see her in person, he back is really black but when she turns is turns grey lol thank you
Aw well maybe if you have any in a scrapbook of some sort you should post them we'd all love to see them I'm sure.
This is random, can dogs be allergic to plants/grass by rubbing their face on it?? I ask cause Memphis is scratching his lips almost raw :\ allergies maybe |

| Oh wow! That's like...not good! As pretty as huskies are, purples not their color Anuschka had a black "saddle" when she was younger, and u saw how light she was...the black stays with them but gets diluted somewhat Ugh, I wanted to post in the rainbow bridge forum here last month when it was the anniversary of them passing away...but...I just don't know how to word anything yet, I suck with words if I do something like that, I'll let you know so u can look at their pics... K, I suck at diagnosing stuff. Maybe post something in the health forum? I've seen some amazing things happen in there as far as getting good answers and stuff. Doesn't matter that Memphis is a GSD, many people here have experience with them too and this sounds like something that happens in any breed. |

| My sister's GSD is allergic to everything! They did an allergy test on him and he's allergic to multiple types of grass, trees, flax seed oil, and a few other things found in normal dog food. During the spring and summer, he is constantly scratching at his ears and face. So, yes, they can be allergic to plants |

| @Jimmy lol I definitely agree! HM interesting, maybe she will be lighter later on I suck at wording things too, especially things that I really care about lol, it doesn't have to be all complicated, just post what you love about them, how your garden is thriving in their memory Haha I think Casey answered my question XD I know gsd are known for skin problems so far it just been bald spots on his ear, ear infection, now very itchy mouth, maybe some vitamin e? @Casey thank you for clarifying that lol it makes since cause all he will do is rub his face on everything like a crazy dog then sneeze then come in the house and scratch. The vet wanted to do an allergy test Las time be she wanted an ridiculous amount |

| Yeah, apparently that happened back in the 80's or something and there's a house down the street now with a 4 ft backyard, even their in ground swimming pool ended up down in the canyon. So I'm kinda hoping it doesn't run down our canyon, lol...Kohdi and Mishka would have no more backyard to dig their holes in! |

| We've had rain forecast everyday for the last 3 weeks, we've been in a perpetual flash flood. UGH, Both of our areas need the rain bad, but would love to see the sun eventually.
Absolutely splendid pics, isn't everything rainbows and huskies? Haha, I think the saying is rainbows and kittens, but huskies act like kittens most of the time, so it works. JUST WONDERFUL!! Thanks for sharing Jane. |

| Jane, most of our rain comes in the night. We have had such a long term drought, that the rain gets soaked in before we make our daily play outside. The dirt road is the only area where she will find mud. We have cement floors in the house so muddy dog is not that big of an issue and she also will not get on any furniture if she is wet, training paid off there, lol. The lack of sun is because it will be cloudy all day until the clouds just let loose. The nice thing about all the rain is that I have a beautiful green lawn for once, no watering restrictions anymore(too much rain I don't have to water anything), and about 10 degrees below normal in temperatures for this time of year, only a couple of days above 90 so far this spring and zero days above 100. First year here we had temps in the 90's in March and over 65 days in a row above 100. I will gladly take the rain, lol. |
