My dog walker, who is also a neighbor kidnapped Anya today so she could play with one of her best friends, Zizzo the doberman mix. His girlfriend was home too and took these hilarious photos and sent them to me on Facebook. Not a bad service for only $5 a day!!

Hi all! It's been a couple months! As of today Anya is 40 lbs and stands about 21.5" at the withers. I hope this is as big as she gets, but we'll see!

Thank you ladies!

I took a picture of her yesterday while I was installing the Christmas lights in my sun room. She's is now 38 weeks (almost 9 months old) I remember when she couldn't look out the window without standing on her hind legs.

Here's a video of her running around in the fresh snow today. She is 9.5 months old

Wow, our dogs look very similar, even the brown markings.

Anya has filled out a bit more this past month :)Here are some photos and a video from yesterday when we had her friend Mocha over.

We went to the Pigeon Forge, TN for a long weekend at the end of spring break some friends and the puppies.
While we were there we did the obligatory hike at Cades Cove






She's not normally allowed on the furniture in our apartment but she was allowed to break the rules at the cabin we stayed at. She was loving it!






The NEXT day after we got home from TN, Anya went in for her spay. It's been intriguing/terrifying to watch her heal. The vet said she doesn't need a cone of shame so I didn't get any funny pictures of her, sadly.

I've been documenting her scar every day or so just to make sure its getting better. In case your curious what an ovary sparing spay incision looks like here ya go. It's slightly longer than a regular spay and seems to heal slower (I could be wrong, this is the first bitch I've ever had fixed)

I did the exact same thing with Diz and his neuter. I took pix of his two incisions every day for a few days. She's so big and cute! She's getting her fat husky cheeks in!

Hehe yeah she was getting her fat husky cheeks! I say was because she is either blowing her coat or the antibiotics are making her shed more than normal so she's probably going to look naked again.

The dog park across the street opened! This is exciting and makes my life so much easier

I took the day off today and took Anya and her bestie, Zizzo. It was pretty hilarious trying to walk both of them at the same time. They did surprisingly good and just pulled me along in a very focus path to the dog park.


Its nothing fancy but it'll do (sorry you can hear the Green line or Metra zipping by)

That is so awesome to have a dog park right across the street! Looks like they had a good time.

Yeah I moved here just for that reason. but literally the week after I moved in the construction fencing for the whole recreational park ground went up. So I waited a whole year for the construction to finish!
